Job Title: Executive Chef

Join District 65 Corporation as an Executive Chef and take on a challenging role that requires exceptional culinary skills, leadership abilities, and attention to detail. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the culinary operations of our hotel, motel, and resort properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate and manage food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory
  • Analyze operating costs and other data to inform menu planning and culinary decisions
  • Develop and implement new recipes, cooking techniques, and menu items to enhance the dining experience
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff, including specialist chefs, cooks, and other kitchen workers
  • Collaborate with clients to plan and execute weddings, banquets, and specialty functions
  • Plan and direct food preparation and cooking activities to ensure high-quality dishes are served to our guests
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and work in a hot, noisy, and wet environment
