Position Overview

The Culinary Services Supervisor plays a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of food service within our establishment. This position requires a blend of leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to quality service.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of secondary school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 to 2 years in a supervisory role within the food service industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve work schedules.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff.
  • Provide training to staff on job responsibilities, sanitation, and safety protocols.
  • Estimate the necessary ingredients and supplies for meal preparation.
  • Recruit and hire food service personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with quality control standards for food and service.
  • Address and resolve customer complaints or concerns effectively.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, repairs, sales, and waste.
  • Prepare and submit operational reports.
  • Compile food order summaries for the chef.
  • Oversee the assembly of food trays.
  • Supervise the delivery of food trolleys.
  • Establish and manage work schedules for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

Responsible for overseeing a team of 3-4 individuals.

Work Conditions
  • Fast-paced environment with high-pressure situations.
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Combination of sitting, standing, and walking required.
  • Prolonged periods of standing may be necessary.
