About the Role

Groupe Touchette inc. is seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. As an Inventory Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in coordinating business calendar tasks and supporting the Purchasing team with analytics.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Evaluate Purchasing Needs: Analyze sales forecasts to determine purchasing requirements and ensure timely ordering of inventory.
  2. Optimize Work Tools and Reports: Collaborate with users to improve the content and functionality of various work tools and reports.
  3. Analyze Performance Metrics: Update and analyze performance measurement dashboards (KPIs) to measure the health of supply chain business processes.
  4. Strategic Data Transmission: Communicate strategic data between departments to ensure seamless operations.
  5. Identify Budget Gaps: Analyze budget vs. actuals and assign actions to organization members to address discrepancies.
  6. Coordinate Booking Orders: Oversee the booking orders process for winter and summer seasons.
  7. Participate in Demand and Supply Planning: Collaborate with teams to develop and implement demand and supply planning processes.
  8. Additional Responsibilities: Perform other related tasks as required.
Requirements
  1. Technical Skills: Bachelor's degree in inventory analysis or 3-5 years of experience in development and programming. Intermediate level in Excel and knowledge of PowerQuery are assets.
  2. Analytical Skills: Ability to synthesize and communicate data to inform business decisions.
  3. Adaptation Capacity: Flexibility to adapt to changing customer needs and ability to self-manage.
  4. Communication Skills: Fluency in English and French, both verbal and written.
  5. Attention to Detail: Meticulous and precise, with a focus on providing reliable and accurate information.
  6. Desire to Learn: Curiosity and openness to change, with a willingness to share knowledge with colleagues.
