Your Role at Baxter

As the RFP and Contracts Manager, you will play a critical role in handling regional contract and RFP management for all consumable, equipment, and service contracts and RFPs. You will work closely with key business partners, including Sales, Marketing, Pricing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Logistics, and Legal, to ensure successful end-to-end management of all RFPs/RFQs/RFIs and Contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain contracts for region-specific customers
  • Accountable for developing contractual verbiage
  • Responsible for accurate and timely notification of pricing and eligibility to customers
  • Assist stakeholders with strategic management of the Contract Calendar, taking into account national perspectives
  • Act as Project Manager for all contract resigns, RFPs, and RFI's for the region
  • Execute and manage contract process (new, renewals, capital, consumables, lease, quotes, extensions)
  • Ensure full compliance with Baxter procedures and all applicable laws, regulations, and standards
  • Engage in terms/conditions negotiations internally and externally to support Sales and ensure Baxter's interests are well defended and processes are followed

Requirements

  • University degree in Business Administration, contracts specialty, or related field
  • 2+ years of related experience, healthcare preferred
  • Experience in contract, pricing, and sales support RFP management
  • Professional designation: PMP, CAPM, or APMP

  • Bilingual in English and French
  • JD Edwards and Cognos experience
