Your Role at Baxter

As the Associate RFP and Contracts Manager, you will be responsible for regional contract and RFP management for all consumable, equipment, and service contracts and RFPs. You will work with key business partners to ensure successful end-to-end management of all RFPs/RFQs/RFIs and Contracts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain contracts for region respective customers
  • Assess viability of requested changes or additions to standard contract verbiage and compare to business standards
  • Manage the contract process, including new, renewals, capital, consumables, lease, quotes, and extensions
  • Ensure compliance with Baxter documented procedures, applicable laws, regulations, and standards
  • Engage in terms and conditions negotiations internally and externally to support Sales and ensure Baxter's interests are well defended
  • Manage terms and conditions analysis with Legal Specialist and/or Legal to ensure completion within timelines and adherence to processes
  • Organize and schedule multiple simultaneous RFP responses on tight schedules and under elevated pressure
  • Support other Baxter Canada Contracts and Pricing initiatives as required

Requirements

  • Bilingual – Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and French
  • University Degree in Business Administration, contracts specialty, or related field
  • 2+ years related experience, healthcare preferred
  • Contract and Pricing Management and Sales Support RFP Management experience
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented
  • Customer-facing experience with strong business acumen
  • Excellent computer skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
