Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at SUBWAY. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our food service staff, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Staff Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting our high standards.
  • Task Management: Establish methods to meet work schedules, prioritize tasks, and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure that they are meeting our standards.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation, maintain accurate records of stock, and ensure that our inventory levels are adequate to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that our food and service meet quality control standards, and take corrective action when necessary to maintain our high standards.
  • Financial Management: Prepare budget and cost estimates, and maintain accurate records of sales, stock, and wastage.
  • Work Scheduling: Establish work schedules, ensuring that our staff are adequately staffed to meet customer demand.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment, working under pressure, and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
