Restaurant Supervisor Job Description

Two Forks Incorporated is seeking a skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of food service staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet customer demand.
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food preparation staff, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, minimizing waste and excess.
  • Hire and manage food service staff, providing guidance and support to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform inventory management and cost control.
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food trolleys to ensure high-quality presentation.
  • Establish and maintain a fast-paced work environment, working under pressure to meet customer demands.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a noisy, fast-paced environment with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Physical demands include standing for extended periods and working in a physically demanding environment.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
