JASKARAN GILL DRYWALL INC. is seeking a skilled and dedicated Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the installation and finishing of drywall in various construction projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets according to specifications.
  • Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints for a smooth and professional finish.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and enhance durability.
  • Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using trowels and broad knives.
  • Tape over joints using taping machines and embed tape in compound for a seamless finish.
  • Smooth out excess compound and allow each coat to dry thoroughly before applying the next.
Qualifications:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a Drywall Installer and Finisher.
  • Strong understanding of drywall installation techniques and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to drywall installation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Work Conditions:

This position requires physical stamina, as it involves bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks. The work environment may be dusty and noisy at times.
