We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installer and Finisher to join our team at JASKARAN GILL DRYWALL INC. as a key member of our construction team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation and Finishing: Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Corner Bead Installation: Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners and maintain a high-quality finish.
  • Ceiling Grid Installation: Fabricate and install suspended metal ceiling grids and place in panels to form acoustical and coffered ceilings.
  • Joint Compound Application: Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Drywall Sheet Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets, positioning and securing them to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Compound Smoothing: Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry, ensuring a seamless finish.
  • Taping and Embedding: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Physical Demands: Bending, crouching, kneeling, handling heavy loads, and performing repetitive tasks.
