About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Drywall Installation Specialist to join our team at JASKARAN GILL DRYWALL INC. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Installation: Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets to ensure a smooth and even finish.
  • Finishing: Apply successive coats of compound, sand seams and joints, and fill holes and cracks with joint compound.
  • Taping and Embedding: Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound to create a seamless finish.
  • Equipment Management: Ensure all necessary tools and equipment are in good working condition and properly maintained.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires working in a fast-paced construction environment with frequent bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will also be required to handle heavy loads and work in a physically demanding role.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in drywall installation and finishing.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Schedule: 35 to 44 hours per week.
