Regulatory Coordinator

The Government of Saskatchewan's Ministry of Agriculture is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented individual to join the Production Technology Regulatory Team as a Regulatory Coordinator

As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for coordinating the annual update of the Guide to Crop Protection

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the annual update of the Guide to Crop Protection
  • Act as a resource agent and first point of contact for pesticide-related inquiries and complaints from clients and the public
  • Provide administrative support to the Forensic Agrologist and appointed Inspector(s) under The Pest Control Products (Saskatchewan) Act
  • Administer appointments of Pest Control Officers and Weed Inspectors for the province
  • Manage data and databases for the Provincial Crop Pest Survey program
  • Provide subject matter expertise for the design, development, maintenance, and enhancement of other database needs within the Crops and Irrigation Branch
  • Collaborate with, assist, and provide support and backup for the Pesticide Licensing Officer
  • Conduct internal audits on pesticide licensing and pesticide investigations

The ideal candidate will possess a diploma in agriculture, business, or computer science or relevant experience

Salary Range: $24.107-$30.214
