Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Head Cashier to join our team at Tandoori Haveli Inc. As a key member of our retail staff, you will be responsible for managing cash transactions, maintaining inventory, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Handling: Authorize payments by cheque, process money, cheques and credit/debit card payments, and manage cash.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock levels and efficient restocking.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Reporting and Administration: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, and oversee payroll administration.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to achieve sales targets and maintain a positive work environment.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail or cash handling environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
  • Availability to work 37 hours per week
