Key Responsibilities
  • Assist students with social skills, behavior skills, self-help, and personal care needs
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and support staff to develop and implement individualized educational plans
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with diverse learning needs
  • Document student progress and maintain accurate records
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
Preferred Qualifications
  • Post-secondary training and/or experience as an Educational Assistant
  • Knowledge and experience with behavioral strategies and documentation procedures
  • Experience working one-on-one and/or in group settings
  • Knowledge of alternate communication strategies and proficiency with computers
  • Experience assisting students with self-help and personal care needs
  • Familiarity with strategies to address different learning styles and experience with Individual Program Plans
