About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Canadian Tire. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and ensuring the smooth operation of our retail store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Assign sales workers to duties and tasks to ensure efficient store operations
    • Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties
  • Customer Service and Sales
    • Authorize payments by cheque and ensure accurate handling of customer transactions
    • Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any customer complaints or issues
    • Sell merchandise and promote products to customers
  • Inventory Management and Reporting
    • Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure efficient stock management
    • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions
