Retail Store Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Powell River Chevron.
Job Summary:The Retail Store Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a high level of sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Hiring and Training: Hire and train or arrange for training of staff to ensure they have the necessary skills to provide excellent customer service and meet sales targets.
- Merchandise Management: Authorize return of merchandise and establish work schedules to ensure efficient inventory management.
- Sales and Reporting: Sell merchandise and prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters to inform business decisions.
- Customer Service: Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages, to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize waste.
- Team Supervision: Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers to ensure efficient store operations and meet sales targets.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Work Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment.
- Work Setting: Retail business.
- Supervision: 3-4 people.
- Language: English.
- Work Hours: 32 hours per week.
