Position Overview

We are pleased to present a rewarding opportunity at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Radiology Administrative Coordinator, you will play a vital role in supporting the administrative team on a daily basis while providing essential business assistance to the entire Radiology department across multiple locations.

In this collaborative environment, you will be tasked with identifying, monitoring, and reporting on data integrity issues. A key aspect of this position involves managing the Healthroster system and overseeing payroll functions for the department, including all WLI payments, while offering administrative support specifically to the Ealing Hospital Radiology division.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle and communicate sensitive matters, including sickness, performance, financial issues, and bereavement, with utmost confidentiality and in compliance with GDPR regulations. The role will involve documenting minutes and attending disciplinary meetings, which may expose the coordinator to distressing information regarding staff situations, such as serious illnesses or terminations.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of electronic staffing and inventory data into the relevant computer systems.
  • Assist in training new and existing staff members on the use of Healthroster, e-procurement, and ICT support helpdesk functionalities.
  • Complete necessary change and leaver forms, including calculating any outstanding leave and repayments, and communicate this information to the Clinical Lead or the affected staff member, while also notifying HR administration of these updates.

Qualifications and Skills

Essential Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 4 in Business and Administration or equivalent.
  • Proficient in IT with keyboard skills equivalent to RSA Level 3 or touch typing.

Essential Skills

  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to prioritize workload effectively and meet deadlines.
