About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Circle K/Shell. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit, and debit card payments, and maintain a clean and organized cash handling area.
  • Process Transactions: Scan items, calculate total payment, and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment, restock shelves, and ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Provide Customer Service: Greet customers, respond to customer inquiries, and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Participate in sales promotions, product demonstrations, and other activities to drive sales and increase customer engagement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Work Setting: Retail business with relocation costs covered by employer.
  • Experience: Will train, permanent position with 30-40 hours per week.
  • Language: English.
