About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Grace International Market. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and contributing to a positive and efficient shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Greet customers and discuss their needs, providing advice and recommendations on products and services.
  • Sales and Merchandising: Operate cash registers, process transactions, and maintain accurate sales records for inventory control.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in receiving and stocking merchandise, maintaining a visually appealing store display, and ensuring that products are properly rotated and faced.
  • Teamwork: Collaborate with colleagues to achieve sales goals, provide support during peak periods, and contribute to a positive and inclusive work environment.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Retail business, supermarket/grocery store.
  • Physical Demands: Fast-paced environment, bending, crouching, kneeling, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, ability to distinguish between colors.
  • Weight Handling: Up to 9 kg (20 lbs).
  • Personal Suitability: Efficiency, positive attitude, quick learner, flexibility, organized, reliability, team player, accurate, client focus.
