The Vintage Hotels group is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie Junior to join our esteemed culinary team at the Prince of Wales Hotel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all necessary food items are available for service, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
  • Supervise and direct kitchen team members, scheduling workload and ensuring efficient food preparation.
  • Execute the Dining Room Main Line, ensuring seamless service.
  • Rotate food stocks and perform inventory control functions to maintain optimal kitchen standards.
  • Review kitchen function sheets daily to guarantee that food items are available and special menu requirements are met.
  • Uphold kitchen standards at all times, both personally and by team members.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 years of experience in a culinary environment.
  • Culinary management diploma or Red Seal designation an asset.
  • Off-site catering experience an asset.
  • Proven team leadership and motivational skills.
