Role Summary

We are seeking a Senior AI Security Advisor to enhance our Data Protection team, focusing on the security and compliance of our AI and LLM models. Your responsibilities will include evaluating AI applications and proposing secure, reliable solutions for our approved AI and LLM models, alongside conducting thorough security evaluations of our AI and LLM systems and processes. You will work closely with various teams and stakeholders to offer security advice and best practices for the development and deployment of AI and LLM technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess AI applications and identify potential threats related to AI and LLM models, including unauthorized access, data breaches, model manipulation, adversarial threats, or ethical concerns.
  • Conduct security evaluations of AI and LLM systems and processes, encompassing data acquisition, model training, testing, validation, deployment, and ongoing maintenance, utilizing established security frameworks and standards such as NIST or ISO.
  • Advise on and implement security measures and counteractions to safeguard AI and LLM models and systems against security threats and vulnerabilities, including encryption, authentication, authorization, logging, backup, recovery, and anomaly detection.
  • Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders, including AI and LLM developers, engineers, testers, validators, users, customers, regulators, and auditors, to provide security insights and best practices for AI and LLM development and deployment.
  • Stay informed about the latest trends, technologies, and threats in AI and LLM security and ethics, and engage in continuous learning and professional development.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information security, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in security operations, analysis, or engineering, ideally within an AI or LLM context.
  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in security principles, frameworks, and practices, including risk management, threat modeling, security testing, and auditing.
  • Strong understanding of AI and LLM concepts, principles, and practices, including the AI and LLM lifecycle, data management, model development, testing, validation, deployment, and maintenance.
  • Proficiency in utilizing security tools and technologies, such as SIEM systems, firewalls, antivirus solutions, encryption, and vulnerability scanners.
  • Familiarity with AI and LLM tools and technologies, including platforms, frameworks, libraries, and programming languages.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and communication abilities.
  • Capability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Certifications in security or AI, such as CISSP, CISM, or AI Ethics, are advantageous but not mandatory.
  • No Canadian work experience is required; however, candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.
