Position Overview

The Field Quality Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality within our operations at Matrix NAC. This position is integral to maintaining our commitment to excellence and ethical conduct.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Commitment: Actively uphold the company's dedication to safety and its core values.
  • Representation: Serve as a representative of the company, demonstrating high moral standards and adherence to the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  • Supervision: Oversee, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers engaged in shaping, forming, and assembling metal components to precise specifications.
  • Work Coordination: Develop methods to meet production schedules and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Material Management: Requisition necessary materials and supplies for ongoing projects.
  • Problem Resolution: Address work-related issues and propose measures to enhance productivity.
  • Training: Facilitate or arrange training sessions for team members to ensure skill development.
  • Personnel Recommendations: Suggest hiring and promotion decisions based on performance evaluations.
  • Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote safe working conditions.
  • Reporting: Prepare production reports and other relevant documentation.
  • Machine Setup: Configure machines and write programs for CNC machine tools.
  • Team Oversight: May also supervise related apprentices, machine operators, helpers, and laborers.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control management.
  • Bachelor's degree or technical qualification in a relevant field is preferred.
  • Current certification in a related inspection process (e.g., AWS CWI, ASNT Level II, NACE) is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance and control activities.
  • Experience in similar construction environments is essential.
  • Proven supervisory skills and strong verbal and written communication abilities are required.
  • Advanced degrees or additional training are desirable.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills are a must.
