Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Quality Supervisor to join our team at Matrix NAC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in our metal fabrication processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers involved in metal shaping, forming, and joining, as well as machine operation and maintenance.
  • Establish and implement methods to meet work schedules and coordinate activities with other departments.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, and ensure that all necessary equipment is in good working order.
  • Train or arrange for training of workers, and recommend personnel actions such as hirings and promotions.
  • Ensure that all work is performed in a safe and efficient manner, and that all necessary reports are prepared and submitted.
  • Set up machines and equipment, and write programs for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in QA/QC management, preferably in a related field.
  • Bachelor's or technical degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Current certification in a related discipline-specific inspection process, such as AWS CWI or ASNT Level II.
  • Thorough working knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance and quality control activities.
  • Proven ability to supervise personnel and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
