Position Overview

The Field Quality Supervisor plays a crucial role in ensuring that the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained within the organization. This position is dedicated to upholding the Company's commitment to safety and its core values.

Key Responsibilities
  • Safety Commitment: Actively support the Company's dedication to safety and adhere to its core values.
  • Representation: Maintain high moral standards while representing the Company and following the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.
  • Supervision: Oversee, coordinate, and schedule the activities of workers involved in shaping, forming, and assembling metal components to precise specifications.
  • Work Coordination: Establish methods to meet work schedules and collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Material Management: Requisition necessary materials and supplies for production activities.
  • Problem Resolution: Address work-related issues and propose measures to enhance productivity.
  • Training: Facilitate or arrange training sessions for workers to ensure skill development.
  • Personnel Recommendations: Suggest hiring and promotion actions based on performance evaluations.
  • Safety Standards: Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards in the workplace.
  • Reporting: Prepare production reports and other documentation as required.
  • Machine Setup: Configure machines and equipment, including writing programs for CNC machine tools.
  • Supervision of Apprentices: May also oversee the activities of apprentices, machine operators, helpers, and laborers.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Quality Assurance and Quality Control management.
  • Bachelor's or technical degree in a related field is preferred.
  • Current certification in a specific inspection process (e.g., AWS CWI, ASNT Level II, NACE) is advantageous.
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory agency quality assurance and control activities.
  • Experience in similar construction facilities is essential.
  • Proven supervisory skills with excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Advanced degrees or additional training are desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills are required.
