Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Document Technician to join our team at Linds & Associates Ltd. As a key member of our Document Processing Centre, you will be responsible for creating, revising, and formatting high-quality documentation with extreme attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize advanced technical skills to create and manage documents, including MS Office 365, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Manage timelines and complete work in a timely fashion, ensuring a positive experience for clients.
  • Perform a variety of tasks, including photocopying, printing, faxing, and sending documents via secure channels.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes and upgrades in technology to ensure the highest quality of work.
  • Collaborate with the team to manage multiple demands and handle time pressure situations.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a legal Document Processing Centre, preferably in Real Estate or Litigation.
  • Successful completion of a post-secondary education as a legal assistant or law clerk.
  • Flexible work schedule and ability to work overtime as necessary.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and make sound judgments.
Preferred Skills:
  • Advanced technical skills using MS Office 365, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Previous experience with digital dicta transcription, accounting software, Document Management, Adobe Reader, and Workshare Compare.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
