Clinical Psychologist, Community Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our Community Mental Health team at IWK Health Centre. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, including children and adolescents, and provide evidence-based assessments, consultations, and interventions.
Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based assessments, consultations, and interventions for youth 3-19 years of age.
- Work collaboratively with other health, social service, and education agencies to provide comprehensive care.
- Participate in the clinical training activities of the Psychology discipline.
- Consult with professional and para-professional staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Ph.D./Psy.D. degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited university program.
- Completion of an APA or CPA-accredited Predoctoral Internship in Psychology.
- Currently registered with or eligible to be registered with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology.
- Formal training and clinical experience in child/adolescent mental health.
- Demonstrated ability to assess and treat a broad range of mental health populations.
- Demonstrated ability to use evidence-based assessment and treatment methods.
