Position Overview

The primary focus of this role is to ensure exceptional service for our clientele through exemplary customer interaction. This entails possessing outstanding communication abilities, a genuine desire to assist others, sound judgment, proactive initiative, and tact. Responsibilities include managing incoming calls, welcoming visitors to Safe Engineering Services & Technologies Ltd., and providing essential information and support. You will collaborate with various team members and perform standard office tasks, such as document preparation and organization, while also undertaking additional responsibilities as assigned. Furthermore, you will support the customer administrative supervisor with various duties, including invoicing, accounts receivable, and drafting routine correspondence. Your insights will be valued as you become a vital member of the marketing and sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a multi-line phone system, utilize a computer, and operate standard office equipment; demonstrate accurate typing skills and handle a high volume of calls with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Engage with the public in a polite and professional manner, both over the phone and in person.
  • Work autonomously with minimal supervision.
  • Comprehend and execute both written and verbal instructions.
  • Exhibit excellent proficiency in spoken English and French, with the ability to communicate clearly in written English.
  • Possess a strong command of English for documentation and communication with clients predominantly outside of Quebec.
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills.
  • Function effectively in both French and English.
  • Be proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite (mandatory skills in Word and Outlook; familiarity with PowerPoint and Excel is advantageous) and be open to learning new software.

A college degree is preferred for the ideal candidate, though it is not an absolute requirement.
