Qualifications
- Diploma in Nursing and a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing.
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Certification in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Minimum of two years of recent experience in Occupational Health within an acute healthcare setting.
- Familiarity with Occupational Health principles and relevant legislation.
- Knowledge of Communicable Disease Surveillance Protocols is preferred.
- Experience in managing disability claims and transitional work programs is an asset.
- Proficiency with Occupational Health Computer Systems is preferred.
- Experience in health promotion and wellness initiatives is an advantage.
- Bilingualism in French and English is a valuable asset.
