Lead Store Donation Attendant FT

About the Role:
Goodwill Industries of Alberta is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Donation Attendant to join our team. As a key member of our store operations, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our donation area.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcoming donors and assisting them with donations
- Sorting donations into designated bins
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of Goodwill transportation trucks
- Maintaining a clean and inviting donation area
- Opening and closing the donation area
- Training other team members on donation attendant duties
- Assisting the supervisor as required
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent work experience
- Minimum age of 15 or older
- Eligibility to work in Canada
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Physical ability to perform tasks on a continual basis
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
