Goodwill Industries of Alberta is dedicated to providing individuals with disabilities the opportunity to find meaningful employment. This mission is made possible through the generosity of Albertans who donate items, which are then resold in our successful retail stores. Our team of dedicated and hardworking individuals is essential to our success.
What You'll Do
- Welcome donors and assist them with their donations.
- Sort donations into designated areas after the donor departs.
- Help load and unload Goodwill transportation trucks.
- Maintain a clean and welcoming donation area for customers and team members.
- Open and close the donation area.
- Train other Goodwill Team Members on all aspects of Donation Attendant duties.
- Assist your supervisor as needed.
What We're Looking For
- A High School Diploma or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum age of 15 years old.
- Eligibility to work in Canada.
- Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- Physical stamina for continuous physical work.
- A commitment to providing exceptional customer service.
- Strong teamwork skills and a willingness to contribute to Goodwill's mission.
- Honesty and integrity in decision-making.
- Ability to recognize and appreciate the efforts of fellow team members.
