Key Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing client projects by delivering assurance and accounting solutions tailored for owner-managed enterprises.
  • Managing project finances, which includes budget oversight, work-in-progress tracking, timely invoicing, and recognizing variances.
  • Operating under stringent deadlines while ensuring high-quality deliverables and proactively addressing client concerns.
  • Cultivating new business prospects by showcasing the firm's capabilities and services, alongside formulating innovative ideas and solutions.
  • Guiding, training, and nurturing both junior and senior team members.
  • Adhering to all confidentiality protocols set by the firm and relevant regulatory bodies.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in public accounting, specifically within the audit sector.
  • Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises, IFRS, and Canadian corporate and personal taxation.
  • In-depth knowledge and application of pertinent professional standards, regulations, and corporate governance practices.
  • Proven ability to foster and sustain relationships with clients as a trusted business partner.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CaseWare, and tax preparation software.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within teams.
  • A solid commitment to delivering professional client service excellence.
