Job Title: Manager, Assurance & Advisory

Baker Tilly Windsor is seeking a seasoned professional to lead our Assurance & Advisory practice, offering a unique work environment and exceptional work-life balance.

We are a leading firm of chartered professional accountants in Canada, providing a comprehensive range of accounting, auditing, tax and business advisory services to mid-market commercial clients and multi-national businesses.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage client engagements, providing assurance and accounting services to owner-managed businesses.
  • Oversee project financials, including budgets, WIP, timely billing and collection, and variance recognition.
  • Deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines, anticipating and resolving client issues in a timely manner.
  • Develop new business opportunities by promoting the firm's expertise and services.
  • Mentor and train junior and senior staff, ensuring their professional growth and development.
  • Comply with all confidentiality policies and applicable regulatory authorities.
Requirements:
  • Canadian CPA, CA designation.
  • At least 4 years of public accounting experience in the audit function.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises, IFRS and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
  • Thorough knowledge and application of relevant professional standards, regulations and corporate governance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients as a trusted business advisor.
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.
  • Experience with MS Office, CaseWare and tax return software.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and ability to effectively work with others in teams.
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
