Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Assurance Manager to join our Assurance & Advisory practice in Windsor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing client engagements, providing assurance and accounting services to owner-managed businesses, and driving business growth through new opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage client engagements, including assurance and accounting services, to ensure high-quality deliverables and client satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement business strategies to drive growth, expand our client base, and increase revenue.
  • Lead and mentor junior and senior staff, providing guidance and support to ensure their professional development and success.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure our clients receive the highest level of service.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and services to our clients.

Requirements

  • Canadian CPA, CA designation.
  • At least 4 years of public accounting experience in the audit function.
  • Strong knowledge of Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises, IFRS, and Canadian corporate and personal tax.
  • Thorough knowledge and application of relevant professional standards, regulations, and corporate governance requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain relationships with clients as a trusted business advisor.
  • Organizational skills to handle multiple projects with conflicting timelines.
  • Experience with MS Office, CaseWare, and tax return software.
  • Excellent interpersonal relations and demonstrated ability to effectively work with others in teams.
  • Strong commitment to professional client service excellence.
