Position Overview:

We are currently in search of a committed Bilingual Mental Health Counselor to enhance our vibrant team. This role is essential in delivering trauma-informed and culturally sensitive support to both youth and adults in our community service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individual and group therapy sessions, psychoeducation, and care coordination tailored to participants' treatment objectives.
  • Manage a caseload of 16 sessions weekly, providing services to both youth and adults.
  • Be available for at least three evening shifts each week, concluding by 7 PM.
  • Lead in-person group sessions to support ROME GROUP's Mental Health initiatives.
  • Collaborate in the design and implementation of mental health programs, working alongside a multidisciplinary team of therapists and social workers.
  • Engage actively in case consultations and team meetings to ensure integrated care.
  • Adhere to and promote all organizational policies and best practices.
  • Align mental health services with ROME GROUP's mission and the expectations of our stakeholders.
  • Maintain precise and current records, and prepare reports as necessary.
  • Report to the Director of Emotional and Physical Wellness and receive individual clinical supervision from the Clinical Director.
  • Embrace the collaborative ethos of ROME GROUP, working with staff, volunteers, and community partners to enhance our holistic, client-centered services.

Required Qualifications:

  • Possess a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) certification in Missouri. Candidates with an LMSW who are eligible for in-house supervision are also encouraged to apply.
  • Have a minimum of one year of experience in social services, particularly in individual case management or counseling.
  • Demonstrate at least one year of direct engagement experience with participants.
  • Show a strong commitment to and enthusiasm for ROME GROUP's mission.
  • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of programs and participants.
  • Bring experience working with underserved and diverse populations.
  • Be prepared to accommodate a flexible and occasionally unconventional schedule.
  • Fluency in both English and Spanish is essential.

Compensation Information:

Our compensation structure is designed to reflect the expertise and value of our team members, with starting salaries tailored to licensure level and professional experience. For those holding an LMSW, the starting salary is set at $48,000, while individuals with an LCSW designation begin at $52,000.
