Job Title: Certified Power Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Power Engineer to join our team in Richmond, Port Coquitlam, and Abbotsford, BC. As a power engineer, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining equipment and systems used in various industries, such as power generation, manufacturing, and aftertreatment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance tasks, including adjusting, repairing, and replacing equipment/components.
  • Good time management to prioritize the most important tasks first.
  • Ability to work with other lines of business and communicate with your team.
  • Can work with industrial boilers, kettles, agitators, pumps, piping, conveyors, etc.
  • Record and interpret readings of all plant equipment and systems.
  • Calibrating equipment and diagnosing problems and scheduled maintenances repairs.
  • Operate and maintain reactors, turbines, boilers, generators, and stationary engines.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in the food manufacturing facility preferred.
  • 5th class power engineering certificate required due to union contract.
  • Ability to be moving for most of your day and can manage your time well.
  • Background with preventative maintenance and breakdowns.
  • Willingness to learn and a goal to grow. Basic PLC knowledge.
  • Available full time and are open to a staggered shift time.
  • Located in or around the Richmond, Port Coquitlam, or Abbotsford, BC areas.
