Job Summary

Worldsource Wealth Management is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Relationship Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our Partnerships and Transition department, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our existing branches, identifying client needs, and providing exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Vice Presidents, Partnerships and Business Development and Director, Partnerships and Transitions as needed.
  • Assist in the preparation of corporate reports, modify PowerPoint presentations, and coordinate the distribution of reports.
  • Populate and manage a CRM database with relationship management information for both Worldsource advisors and potential recruits.
  • Schedule and confirm branch presentations when necessary and book meetings as appropriate.
  • Manage email distribution lists and organize and execute e-marketing campaigns.
  • Perform ad hoc reporting from sources such as the Dashboard and other internal reporting systems.
  • Process and track expenses.
  • Manage all aspects of CE credit process from submission to delivery.
  • Fulfill requests for marketing/reward/sponsorship material and coordinate on-site events as needed.
  • Prepare and manage internal recruiting documents and participate in the recruitment process.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all assigned transitions.
  • Develop business proposals, promissory notes, and amortization schedules for transitioning advisors.
  • Arrange to provide onboarding advisors/branches with preliminary and ongoing operational training.
  • Work closely with Training, Operations, Compliance, IT, Accounting, and Registrations Teams to coordinate and plan for orderly transitions.
  • Meet with and/or speak to all advisors in transition to Worldsource to develop and manage a recruitment plan and timeline.
  • Provide proactive outbound communication with advisors and assistants.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with advisors through email, conference calls, and scheduled office visits.
  • Act as a point of escalation for non-administrative related issues and take full ownership of the resolution.
  • Respond to inquiries from advisors and assist with other duties as assigned.
  • Identify and bring forth suggestions for efficiencies within the department and organization.
Qualifications
  • Post-secondary degree or equivalent experience.
  • IFIC or CSC an asset.
  • 3 – 5 years similar experience within the MFDA and IIROC investment industry.
  • Superior written and communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to work independently.
  • Effective management of projects, timelines, and priorities.
  • Extraordinary client focus and strong professional acumen.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Superior organizational and listening skills.
  • Familiarity with Dataphile an asset.
  • Excellent PC skills including: Word, IN-Design, PowerPoint, Excel, and social media applications.
