About the Role:

Become a vital part of N. Harris Computer Corporation, specifically within the SilverBlaze division, which is a dynamic and expanding international software development entity focused on Customer Web Portals tailored for the Utilities sector.

We are in search of a motivated and quick-learning individual to deliver technical assistance to our current clientele utilizing our software platform.

This role involves direct interaction with utility clients, sister companies within Harris, and our development team to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges. As a valued member of our esteemed team, you will play a crucial role in providing outstanding customer support that is both effective and timely. The ideal candidate will be a collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal abilities. Self-motivation, a commitment to continuous learning, and attention to detail are essential qualities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to achieve common goals.
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting information clearly in both technical and non-technical formats.
  • Maintain a customer-centric approach, prioritizing client satisfaction in all interactions.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree, relevant technical diploma, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Proficiency in API Testing (SOAP API, TestServer, Postman API).
  • Familiarity with database management tools such as SSMS, Dbeaver, and Powershell for script creation and updates.
  • Experience with the installation and configuration of Apache HTTP Server.
  • Strong knowledge of the installation and configuration of Apache Tomcat Server.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret Apache log files.
  • Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Working knowledge of Virtual Machines (VMs).
  • Capability to establish and maintain VPN connectivity.
  • Intermediate proficiency in MS Office 365.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of the utility industry is advantageous.
