THE ORTHODONTIC CENTRE AT NORTHLAND is seeking a skilled User Support Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical support team, you will provide expert assistance to users in response to identified difficulties, ensuring seamless access to our business systems, network, and Internet.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide advice and training to users on the effective use of our systems and software.
- Collect, organize, and maintain a problems and solutions log for use by other technical support analysts.
- Offer business systems, network, and Internet support to users in response to identified difficulties.
- Set up equipment for employee use, ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
- Perform Web-server backup and recovery operations.
- College/CEGEP education.
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a technical support role.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with users at all levels.
- Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail.
The User Support Technician will work in a general office setting, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service and technical support to our users.
Language:The primary language of work is English.
Hours:The User Support Technician will work 30 hours per week.
