About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced AWS Solutions Advisor to join our team at CDW. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing strategic plans to expand and enhance business opportunities within select agencies or accounts with AWS.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Revenue Growth: Develop and execute plans to drive incremental revenue and profit growth within the identified account base and partner portfolio.
  • Subject Matter Expert: Act as the subject matter expert for customer visits and presentations, customer conference calls and webinars, as well as participate in all aspects of large transaction sales cycles.
  • Partner Alignment: Work closely with multiple stakeholders at the customer to influence the final requirements of the target opportunity, including executives, program leads, project leads, technical experts, and procurement.
  • Field Alignment: Participate in and develop CDW sales and designated partner field alignment to further align with the evolving needs of our customers.
  • Customer Events: Attend customer-facing events to communicate the value add of CDW and the partner.
  • Market Understanding: Understand the competitive landscape in AWS and/or region and how market conditions can impact CDW and the partner being supported.
  • Customer Needs: Ability to articulate and connect customer needs to CDW's value proposition around hybrid solutions.
  • Trend Identification: Identify trends in customer purchasing patterns and enact specific plans to help sales teams capture a greater share of AWS business.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: 2 years of experience working in an AWS or cloud technology sales role
  • Skills: Strong passion for technology and cloud computing, particularly AWS services. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with clients. Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to understand and articulate complex technical concepts.
  • Certifications: AWS certification(s) such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, or AWS Certified Sales Specialist is a plus.
  • Tools: Familiarity with sales and CRM tools, such as Salesforce is a plus.
