Job Title: Guest Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Supervisor to join our team at Holiday Inn, Ottawa East. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure seamless guest service delivery.
  • Perform Same Duties as Workers Supervised: Demonstrate a strong understanding of our hotel operations and perform tasks as needed to support our team members.
  • Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to team members to resolve work-related problems and improve productivity.
  • Co-ordinate, Assign and Review Work: Effectively manage work assignments, provide feedback, and coach team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team of guest service agents to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
  • Maintain Operation of Computer Systems and Equipment: Ensure the smooth operation of our hotel systems, equipment, and machinery to maintain business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Requisition Materials and Supplies: Procure necessary materials and supplies to support our hotel operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role in the hospitality industry.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail.
