Job Title: Guest Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Supervisor to join our team at Holiday Inn, Ottawa East. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and providing top-notch service to our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure seamless guest service delivery.
  • Perform Same Duties as Workers Supervised: Demonstrate a strong understanding of our hotel's operations and perform tasks similar to those of our front desk staff.
  • Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot issues and provide expert guidance to resolve work-related problems and improve productivity.
  • Co-ordinate, Assign, and Review Work: Effectively manage and delegate tasks to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit and train new team members in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Maintain Operation of Computer Systems and Equipment: Ensure the smooth operation of our computer systems, equipment, and machinery to maintain business continuity and customer satisfaction.
  • Requisition Materials and Supplies: Procure necessary materials and supplies to support our hotel's operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Work Setting: Hotel, motel, or resort environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, and team player.
