Job Title: Guest Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Guest Service Supervisor to join our team at Holiday Inn, Ottawa East. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences and maintaining the highest standards of service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules and Procedures: Develop and implement efficient work schedules and procedures to ensure seamless guest service delivery.
  • Perform Same Duties as Workers Supervised: Demonstrate a strong understanding of our hotel operations and perform tasks as needed to support our team members.
  • Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot issues and provide guidance to team members to resolve work-related problems and improve productivity.
  • Co-ordinate, Assign and Review Work: Effectively manage work assignments, provide feedback, and coach team members to achieve exceptional results.
  • Hire and Train Staff: Recruit, train, and develop our team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
  • Maintain Operation of Computer Systems and Equipment: Ensure the smooth operation of our computer systems, equipment, and machinery to maintain business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Requisition Materials and Supplies: Procure necessary materials and supplies to support our hotel operations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a focus on attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, dependable, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral and written communication, flexibility, initiative, interpersonal awareness, judgement, organized, and a team player.
