Job Title: Superintendent 4

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent to join our team at Jardeg-Construction. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and directing projects from the earliest stages to completion. Your expertise in construction engineering and design, as well as your knowledge of standard construction software and management processes, will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in preconstruction services, including site logistics, project scheduling, and design and constructability review.
  • Manage site staffing, quality control, sub-trade coordination, project scheduling, and field cost control.
  • Determine the method of construction, materials quantities, equipment, and work schedule.
  • Coordinate assigned work with different crafts, company departments, and subcontractors.
  • Maintain relationships with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
  • Monitor compliance with company and site safety programs and documents, and implement corrective measures as needed.
  • Take an active role in hiring, training, and monitoring field personnel.
  • Assist with project meetings and resolution of outstanding claim items.

Requirements:

  • Varying years of experience will be considered, with a minimum of 2-4 years in a supervisor capacity role.
  • Proficiency in structural concrete, steel, and timber frame construction.
  • Proven ability to manage project values $1M - 15M.
  • Proven ability to lead mid-sized teams.
  • Knowledge of construction engineering and design.
  • Knowledge of standard construction software and management processes.
