Job Summary:

The Food Service Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. This includes supervising and coordinating the activities of staff, training them in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and maintaining records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, including food service counter attendants and food preparers.
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and ensure that they are aware of and adhere to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, and ensure that all necessary reports are completed accurately and on time.
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all staff are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, with the ability to work varied shifts and respond to changing circumstances.
Work Environment:

The Food Service Supervisor will work in a fast-paced food service establishment, with a focus on providing excellent customer service and ensuring that all food and service meet quality control standards.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours:

The Food Service Supervisor will work 30 to 40 hours per week, with varied shifts and flexibility required to meet the needs of the business.
