Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Food Service Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our restaurant. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply needs to ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Prepare and submit reports on sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a food service or related industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
