Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Guest Service Agent to join our team at Comfort Inn Charlottetown. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their stay with us is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration and Check-In/Check-Out
    • Register arriving guests and assign rooms in a timely and efficient manner.
    • Process guest departures, calculate charges, and receive payments.
  • Guest Services
    • Investigate complaints and claims in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide information on hotel facilities and services, as well as points of interest in the area.
    • Assist guests with special needs and provide support as required.
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Manage the front desk area, ensuring a clean and organized environment.
    • Process group arrivals and departures, and handle room reservations and cancellations.
    • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties as needed.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Answer telephone calls and relay messages to guests and staff.
    • Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Experience an asset, but not necessary.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and maintain a positive attitude.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 30-40 hours per week. The work environment is fast-paced and requires standing for extended periods.
