About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Insurance Sales Executive to join our team at Sylvain Crocq - Desjardins Insurance Agent. As an Insurance Sales Executive, you will be responsible for selling insurance products to existing and new customers, identifying customer needs, and providing prompt and accurate customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sales and Business Development: Sell insurance products to existing and new customers, including Premature Death/Life Insurance, Critical Illness, Auto, and Home Insurance.
  • Customer Service: Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service, including responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, and policy changes.
  • Sales Goals and Performance: Work with the agent to establish and meet sales goals, and maintain a successful sales process.
Requirements
  • Licenses and Certifications: Must be fully licensed with Alberta Life & Accident & Sickness Licenses and have proven success selling Life & Living Benefits.
  • Education and Training: Must be studying for Alberta Level 1 or able to do so within 4-6 weeks.
  • Skills and Abilities: Must be detail-oriented, have excellent interpersonal and organizational skills, and be able to multi-task.
  • Experience and Performance: Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred, with excellent communication skills - written, verbal, and listening.
  • Personal Qualities: Proactive in problem-solving, dedicated to customer service, and good credit with no outstanding collections.
Compensation and Benefits

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and excellent commission program, with a total income of $60,000.00 to $80,000.00/year.
