About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Sales Representative to join our team at Jeff Cooke Insurance Agency Ltd. As an Insurance Sales Representative, you will be responsible for selling insurance products to individuals and businesses, providing exceptional customer service, and building strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify potential client markets and assess their insurance needs.
  • Premium Calculation: Calculate premiums for clients based on their insurance needs and risk profiles.
  • Client Onboarding: Establish client insurance coverage, ensure all necessary forms and policy requirements are completed, and provide clear explanations of policy features and benefits.
  • Claims Management: Monitor insurance claims, respond to client inquiries, and provide timely and effective resolution to claims issues.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, respond to client inquiries, and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date on insurance products, including group and individual insurance packages, risk coverage, benefits paid, and other policy features.
  • Sales and Marketing: Sell automobile, fire, health, life, property, marine, aircraft, and other types of insurance to clients, and develop marketing strategies to attract new clients.
Requirements
  • Provincial or Territorial Licence: Hold a valid provincial or territorial insurance licence.
  • Insurance Experience: Have experience in group insurance, automobile insurance, fire insurance, house insurance, life insurance products, and travel insurance products.
  • Education: Have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Experience: Have 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Hours: Work 35 to 40 hours per week.
