Job Summary

Canus Transportation is seeking a highly skilled Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting and Analysis
    • Prepare and submit regular reports on production and other key performance indicators.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify areas for improvement and recommend measures to enhance work methods and productivity.
  • Technical Guidance
    • Provide technical advice and guidance to drivers and other team members.
  • Supervision and Training
    • Supervise and train drivers and other team members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Coordination and Scheduling
    • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize downtime.
  • Health and Safety
    • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that a safe working environment is maintained.
  • Personnel Management
    • Recommend personnel actions, including hiring, training, and disciplinary measures.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Language
    • English language proficiency.
