Job Title: Truck Driver-Supervisor

North Eastern Trucking Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Truck Driver-Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of drivers and ensuring the smooth operation of our trucking fleet.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Train Drivers: Provide guidance and support to our drivers to ensure they are meeting our high standards of safety and customer service.
  • Monitor and Control Operations: Oversee the daily operations of our trucking fleet, including scheduling, routing, and logistics.
  • Coordinate Repairs and Maintenance: Work with our maintenance team to ensure our trucks are properly maintained and repaired in a timely manner.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies: Oversee the ordering and inventory of supplies and equipment needed to maintain our fleet.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure that all drivers and operations staff are complying with company policies and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • or equivalent experience
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work under pressure, and a strong understanding of logistics and transportation operations.
Working Conditions:

This is a permanent, full-time position with a 30-hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and be able to adapt to changing circumstances.

The primary language of this position is English.
