Job Summary

CHAHAL BROS TRANSPORT is seeking a highly organized and team-oriented Truck Driver Supervisor to oversee daily operations and ensure the smooth delivery of goods. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supervising a team of 3-4 people and coordinating activities to meet company goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervision: Lead and manage a team of 3-4 people to achieve daily objectives.
  • Reporting: Prepare and submit production and other reports to management.
  • Training: Train or arrange for training to ensure team members have the necessary skills to perform their duties.
  • Operations: Monitor and operate signal and track switch control panel to ensure efficient transportation of goods.
  • Coordination: Coordinate and schedule activities to meet company deadlines.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure that all team members follow health and safety regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
  • Repairs and Rentals: Coordinate repairs and rentals of equipment and vehicles as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience, or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Industry Experience: Experience in the trucking industry is preferred.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Personal Suitability: Organized, team player, and able to work in a team environment.
